An Unspoiled Landscape

Located in the Ace Basin, our location and setting is what makes us special. Secluded from society and brimming with wildlife, our corner of the South Carolina coast encompasses pristine upland pines, centuries old live oaks and lush salt marshland. Here, an unspoiled landscape beckons from your front door as well as your back, ensuring both blissful privacy and proximity to unmatched sporting opportunities. We are proud stewards of this natural paradise which is protected by a conservation easement managed by the Open Land Trust.

A Passage Through Time

Historical Hunts

1913

Dating back to the late 1800’s, Bindon Plantation has been an outdoorsman’s paradise and retreat. Previous owners of Bindon Plantation, the Lorillard family, from New York, brought a photographer with them to document a six-week hunting trip in early 1913. We are extremely fortunate to have recovered two (2) original photo albums containing 192 photographs. Many of the photos will be digitally enhanced and displayed in the lodge.
